Helen Francis Cheatham
83, a resident of Farmington, went to be with Jesus on Monday, September 14, 2026. She was born February 20, 1943, in Prairie Grove to her loving parents Hazel and John.
Helen was preceded in death by her loving husband, Sam; her parents; and her sister, Linda King.
Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Herndon and husband Eddie; her son, Robert Cheatham and wife Vicky; five grandchildren: Jamie Gabbard and wife Chris, Kesha Emlet and husband Ryan, Collin Cheatham and wife Kaysha, Chelsea Folsom and husband Scott, Laci Spears and husband Ryan; nine great-grandchildren: Sydney Sills and husband Weston, Teagan Gabbard, William Emlet, Payton Emlet, Harper Emlet, Presleigh Spears, AC Spears, Fen Cheatham, and Piper Folsom: her brother John Clayton and wife Vivian; and her much beloved puppy, Bear.
Helen loved her family fiercely! Some of her favorite things to do were going out to eat breakfast; walking her dog Bear at the park; having ice cream with great-grandchildren; visiting with family; watching true crime TV shows; listening to music, in particular, Rod Stewart.
Helen and Sam thoroughly enjoyed traveling with their friends. Whether going on cruises or staying in resorts, they always had fun. Their favorite destinations always had a beach!
Helen was very loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
The family will receive family and friends for a Celebration of Helen's Life at Luginbuel Funeral Home Thursday, September 24, 6:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M.
