Johnny Loy Einert, Sr. was born September 18, 1948 in Clarksville, AR to Herman Loy and Ardith Pauline (Holland) Einert and passed from this life January 11, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 70.
Johnny was raised in the Clarksville area and attended the Lamar school system. As a young man he was married to Cherrie June Terrell and to this union two children were born, Johnny Loy Einert II and Johnai Lee Einert. He later married Tennie Lynn Williamson and they had one daughter, Lela Jane Einert.
Johnny lived for several years north of Clarkesville. He worked for many years as a concrete finisher with a special uncle, Bill Einert. He was also a gifted musician. He played most any stringed instrument but excelled on the guitar and fiddle. He played country and gospel music all across the region in live performances and doing studio work.
Johnny made his home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, for several years, where he cared for his mother until her passing. He was also preceded in death by his father, Herman Loy, and his special uncle and aunt, Bill and Mary Einert.
Due to failing health he relocated to South Carolina to be with his son Johnny II and later to West Monroe, Louisiana where he spent time with his sister, Sharon. Last November he moved to Henryetta, OK, spending his final days with his daughter, Lela.
He was a member of the NRA and the Center Point Church of God.
Survivors include his son, Johnny Loy Einert II of Wadmalaw, SC; Daughters, Johnai Lee Johnson of Nashville, TN, and Lela Foster and husband Brad of Henryetta, OK; sons, Rodney Topp of Melbourne, FL and Rodrick Topp of Summerville, SC; a former daughter-in-law who he loved as his own, Renee Rylee Of Hartman, AR; 8 grandchildren, Johnathan and his girlfriend Samantha, Johnny III (Trey) and wife Gracie, Joshua, Jaeleigh, Izabella, Brianna, Hunter, and Caveryn; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, January 15 at 2:00pm at the Center Point Church of God in Prairie Grove, AR with Rev. Gene Jennings, Pastor, officiating. Pallbearers will be Eddie Hard, Rodney Topp, Rodrick Topp, Hunter Foster, Johnathan Einert, and Trey Einert. Honorary bearers will be Johnny Loy Einert II, Brad Foster, Clinton Holland, Standon Einert, Staylon Einert, Ralph Dotson, Joshua Einert, Joe Faddis, Ron Wilcox, and Ralph Hollingsworth. Interment will be in the Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow under the direction of Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka, OK.
