kaytlin was a joyhearted girl that will never be forgotten beacuse of all the the gsilly things she did and all the thing that blessed other people and it was asome being her brother and will always be in my memorie love you kaiytlin.

Where to begin...Kaitlyn is one of those kids that a teacher never forgets! I will never forget how nervous I was when Melissa told me her niece would be in my class...I thought,"Oh, my goodness, what if I don't do a good job, Melissa will find out for sure now!" Little did I know, I ended up getting one of the most awesome student, and friend, a teacher could ever have. She could always make me laugh and had such an infectious personality. It was always fun to see what she was going to wear (loved her graphic tees)or say. She always made others feel good about themselves. I had other students in class who were left out or "weird" by others' standards and Kaitlyn was there trying to get them to play at recess! I loved that she challenged me with her extremely high intelligence and the discusions she brought to a class...there was a lot of me saying, "Hmm...we might have to look that up." :) I also LOVED that she came back to visit and would update me on everything from who she was hanging out with to what new song she liked...and she would sing a little of it if I didn't know it (I remember her really liking the "Firefly" song). I will also never forget how excited she was about her black, lace up Converse boots. She could pull ANYTHING off with style. When I asked Blake of a word that comes to mind when he thinks of Kaitlyn he said, "Stylish." That is so true. It was even cooler to hear her play her instruments and see how fast she got into it! She was fearless, bold, and never afraid to be herself. I could go on and on because as you know she was just that awesome. We need more people like her! I love her and I love Blake. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to teach both of them.

I remember seeing Kaitlyn in the hallway and her smiing face. I have shared Kaitlyn's story of courage with my Sunday school class and students at school. Please know that her memory will live on and has touched other's lives!

Blessings to each of you in the coming days. Kaitlyn's vibrant presence must be rattling things above - I know that she has left a strong mark down here. I pray for a different peace for you and offer you my deepest respect for your courage and presence.

Kaitlyn has been a model of strength and courage and love for everyone that she has come in contact with through her short life and especially in this final trial that she endured. Who knows how many people she has inspired to be strong, courageous, and loving like she's been!! You can be so proud of her.

Hey sissy i miss you and love you. I remember the funny story of people telling me you stuck a gumie bear in my mouth when i was a baby. I remember all the nuggies you gave me and even have a picture for prof. Im glad your in heaven because you are not in pain anymore and probly having fun. I miss you a lot and love you.

My sweet baby, where to begin...I just want you to know that I love you more than life itself. My heart is hurting so bad and I am missing you like crazy. I am so furtunate to have you in my life for the 14 years I was blessed to have you. I will miss you putting your arms around my waiste and saying "I love you momma", I will miss the crazy dances we would do in the living room. It was always dance time when you were around. I will miss hearing your sweet voice sing. You always had a song to sing and we had such a good time in the car singing away. I may not have made the best choices in my life but the one thing I did right WAS HAVE YOU. You and your brother were my life and you will forever live on in my heart. My heart is broken and there will always be a place that will never mend. I will think about you daily and find my self in the most craziest moments talking to you asking for direction. My life will never be the same and is forever changed having you in my life. My most cherished memory of your last days on earth were you trying to do the motions of our little saying..."How much does Momma love you? This, this much, as big as the world, and a whole, whole bunches". I hope you know how much I loved you baby girl and I will wait for the day for the day I am able to meet my little girl again. You have fun up there in heaven and be on your best behavior.... your in Gods house now and he is the BIG MAN now! Love you sweet baby girl, I will miss you like crazy!

I will always cherish the times Kaitlyn and I spent in our guitar lessons playing and listening to music... and talking. Sometimes I think we ended up talking more than anything else. Kaitlyn was a special girl, definitely one of a kind. She had such great taste in music and talking with her was like talking with one of my friends, not just a student. We will all miss her down here on earth, but she will always be looking down upon us until the day we meet in Heaven. I hope Heaven's Angel Band is ready for your rockin' music. I bet those bar chords are a piece of cake up there! Love you, miss you, looking forward to the day we can all be together.

It was an honor and a privilidge to know Kaitlyn and be part of the team during the last 3 months. Despite all the side effects, she faught leukemia with great bravery and dignity. I remember her beautiful smile and always bright personality. God Bless you..!!

Kaitlyn was a sweet and sassy lady! She kept us all on our toes. I loved taking care of her and we often times fought over who her nurse would be because we all loved her. She will forever hold a special place in my heart. I pray for God's hand of peace and comfort to cover her family. I am grateful to know that one day I will get to see her beautiful face again!!

I can remember when she was little and would come to see papa at work and could get him to do anything,she had him wraped around her little finger.Roger and rohnda me and the boys love u and are praying.Ammie u are an amazing mom and so strong.

I will always remember when Kaitlyn would come back over to visit us at Jones. She would pop up in front of me, out of the blue and wave at me with a big grin on her face. I loved hearing about all the books she was reading and talking to her about Twilight and the House of Night series that she got me started on. I loved seeing her as a jr. high student because she was so confident in who she was and that was so refreshing to see in a teenager. I loved having her in class because she always had something funny to say and a smile to share. I will miss her but know she's in a far better place and I will see her again.

Amy, I remember when Kaitlyn was around 3 and I came down to visit. We met at Arby's and Kaitlyn was a riot. You were mortified but I thought she was so funny, spunky, curious and sweet. She looked just like you. That was the first time I freaked out cuz one of my friends had a little mini-me running around. Of course now we all do. Amy, you are one of my oldest friends, we have shared a lifetime together. I think about you every day. I love you, Melanie

God blessed me with the friendship of Amy, Kaitlyn & Blake when I first moved to NWA. I remember sitting in my living room with Kaitlyn and Amy during one of our BBQ's and it was so hard to remember that Kaitlyn was just a child because she spoke and acted just like an adult. We would laugh about boys and she would tell amusing stories from school. Cheyenne would ask me if Kaitlyn could be her big sister cuz she wanted to be just like her. Thank you Amy, Kaitlyn & Blake for being a part of my life.

A few years of a life well lived is worth 1000 of one not. I am so sorry for your loss. God be with you and provide comfort.

I remember seeing Kaitlyn everyday while her mother Amy was watching my son. When I would arrive to pick him up each afternoon, I would have to pry Wyatt away from Kaitlyn. She absolutely loved him. Even as he grew, whenever Kaitlyn would see Wyatt she was the first to pick him up and start to play with him. She was loving and sweet and such a wonderful person. What a wonderful angel to have watching over all of us!

I am so sorry to hear about Kaitlyn. It is sad to loose a child, but her time on earth may be a big influence for someone.

Where to start, Kaitlyn was a very precious young lady. The biggest thing I remember about her is that "huge contagious smile" she always had when she came to P.E. and the sparkle in her eyes. Kaitlyn was alwyas ready to lend a hand when I needed help and she will be greatly missed. I do look forward to the day that I will get to see her contagious smile and sparkling eyes again, when we meet in Heaven.

I'll never forget you telling me about Kaitlyn and Blake cracking up when you guys watched Liam for us last year. If I remember right, there was a sheep on TV and he started running around saying "baa". :) D

I so remember when you were at Grandma Wilma's and you took it upon yourself to gather grass, a lot of grass, and stand and feed the neighbors cow's through the fence.. I will always remember this last summer, where we spent time at my apartment pool. With Kaitlyn, Blake and Amy. How that girl loved to swim. To just be in the water was pure Heaven. We would play, and she especially loved flipping. I would go all the way down under the water, let her put her feet on my shoulders, and when she tapped my head, I would come up like a bullet, she would jump as high as she could and flip backwards. Then she would just laugh and say, lets do it again! I hope your doing all the things you love and have the best, most awesome pool where you are now. I love you and always will! Kaitlyn was such an outgoing vivacious sweet girl. She was my flower girl in my wedding. I remember that day well. She was so hot and was such a trooper. The flowers kept getting stuck to her fingers and she was having to fling them off one at a time. She took her job very seriously. I will remember her smile and the way she always took time to play with my girls. She will greatly missed.

When Kaitlyn was in fifth grade, her sweet personality shone brightly as she participated as one of the very first members of a small student leadership team. She contributed ideas and was always able to think outside-of-the-box when that small group of students worked together to help improve activities at our elementary school. Although she had her own vision of an outstanding school, she never overlooked the ideas or feelings of the other students around her. She was accepting of everyone and their ideas. She would work just as hard toward supporting others as she would toward her own ideas. I especially appreciated that about Kaitlyn. During the year that she was a part of that small student leadership team, the group of students decided to provide a small scholarship for a graduating senior. The students pledged working time to teachers and in return teachers contributed money toward the scholarship goal. Kaitlyn and that group of students could have easily worked toward some small effort for themselves and their classmates, but instead Kaitlyn and her friends worked selflessly toward helping another person reach goals that may have otherwise been beyond reach. Kaitlyn understood the power of working together to help others. She was full of positive energy! Kaitlyn’s sweet, giving spirit will be remembered by all of us who had the opportunity to know her and to love her. Kaitlyn and her dear family were and continue to be inspirational.

I have great memories of Kaitlyn coming into the library to check out books during her first year at Parson Hills. She always had a grin on her face and always had a request for a book. As we looked for her books, we talked about all sorts of things, as well as her books. She always had a unique way of looking at the world. I am sorry that I will not get to meet her as an adult and discuss books she has read, but I am glad I knew her for a short while. It was a joy.

Kaitlyn has changed our lives forever. Her experience has made me realize just how short life can be and how important it is to spend time with my children and make sure they know how much I love them. You will remain forever in my heart, and every time my daughter calls me "momma", I will hear you, too.

Kaitlyn Was Such A Sweet Girl. I Remember In 7th Grade When We Sat By Each Other We Talked About Random Things. Her Favorite Bands. And The Funny Moments In Each Others Lives. I was so blessed to be Kaitlyn's aunt. I have so many cherished memories of her, because she brought so much joy to my life. The courageous battle she fought inspired everyone that heard her story.
