Obituary

Kelly Richard Ramey, 63, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 in West Fork, Arkansas. He was born December 23, 1962 in Fayetteville, Arkansas, the son of Benjamin Lee and Maudie Mingtoy (Fields) Ramey.

Kelly was born in December, and his favorite holiday was Christmas with all the lights. From childhood, he was known for his mischievous spirit, quick wit, and ability to make those around him laugh. Kelly never met a stranger. He found joy in life's simple pleasures—a friendly conversation, a shared story, or a chance encounter with someone new. Kelly had a genuine gift for connecting with people and making them feel valued. He deeply loved his church family at Blackburn Community Covenant Church and cherished attending services whenever his health allowed. Above all, Kelly's greatest treasures were his faith in God and the relationships he shared with his family and friends. He lived with a grateful heart and taught others that happiness could often be found in the simplest moments of fellowship, kindness, and love.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his two children: Richard Blake Ramey and Kellie Elizabeth Preston and husband Bill; two grandsons: Billy Blake Ramey and Hunter Nathaniel Ramey; and three siblings, Shelly Clark and husband Charles, Daniel Lee Ramey, and Lonny Kirk Ramey and wife Jennifer.

The family will receive friends for a visitation Wednesday, June 24 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM at the Luginbuel Chapel. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 26 at 2:00 PM at the Blackburn Community Covenant Church, 10418 Devils Den Rd, Winslow, AR 72959. Burial will be at the McDonald's Cemetery at a later date with a small family gathering.

In lieu of Flowers, please give any gift in honor of Kelly's life to his church, the Blackburn Community Covenant Church, 10418 Devils Den Rd, Winslow, AR 72959.
