Marvin E. Foster

72 a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away May 21, 2010 at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born September 14, 1937 in Winslow, Arkansas, the son of Charles F. and Virginia Mae Weber Foster.

He was a member of the Farmington Church of Christ. He was president of the Garrett Creek Cemetery Association, a founding board member of the Green Valley Bible Camp, a member of the Foot Hills of the Ozarks Antique Auto Club.

Marvin was preceded in death by his father, Charles Foster and one brother, Jim Foster;

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Mary Helen Pierce Foster of the home; two daughters, Diane Murray and her husband Kevin of Farmington, Arkansas and Gina Bailey and her husband Marion of Farmington, Arkansas; his mother, Virginia Foster of Farmington, Arkansas; three brothers, Dale and Wayne Foster of Farmington, Arkansas, and Charles Foster of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three sisters, Anita Meadors of Winslow, Arkansas, Mary Sue Rice and Helen Carter both of Farmington, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Lindsey White and her husband, Justin, Rodney Bailey, Oakley Bailey, Cassie Keen and her husband, Cody, Callie Rose Murray; one great grandson, Pierson Thomas Keen.

Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 25, 2010 - 10:00 A.M. at Farmington Church of Christ in Farmington, Arkansas with burial in Garrett Creek Cemetery near Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Memorials may be made to Green Valley Bible Camp P.O. Box 65 Rogers, Arkansas 72757 or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation 440 N College Fayetteville, Arkansas 72701.

Pallbearers will be: Rodney Bailey, Justin White, Cody Keen, Joe Kilpatrick, Darrell Abshier, and Bucky Nichols

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Dale Foster, Wayne Foster, Charles Foster, Marion Bailey, Kevin Murray, Donnie Rice, Eugene Meadors, and Wayne Carter.
