92 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away January 17, 2011 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born June 16, 1918 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Lewis Napoleon and Minnie Lee Quinton Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lacy Gordon Carte; one brother, Gano Hodges; two sisters, Flossie Copeland and Lois Carte.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Ruth Rutherford and her husband, Don of Lincoln, Arkansas; five sons, James Glenn Carte, Clifford Lee Carte, Billy Dale Carte and his wife, Barbara, Gordon Lewis Carte and his wife, Gail and Dennis Loyd Carte and his wife, Sharon all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; three brothers, Conard Hodges of California, G.W. Hodges of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Omer Hodges of West Fork, Arkansas; one sister, Olivie Cole of Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren and one great great grandchild..
Pallbearers will be: Joe Rutherford, Jason Carte, Ricky Carte, Mike Carte and Brian Carte.
