Viola Marion Hopkins Smith
Age 88, a resident of Huntsville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025 Huntsville, Arkansas. She was born October 7, 1936 in Mountainair, New Mexico, the daughter of William Marion and Viola (Hamilton) Hopkins.
Viola was a devout Christian and had attended Church of Christ Church in Rogers and Fayetteville, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marion Lester "Smitty" Smith, one daughter Karen Sue Tuck, two sons Darrell Eugene Smith and Paul Douglas Smith, her parents, three brothers Gene Hopkins, Jeff Hopkins, and Orvil Hopkins, and two sisters Cynthia Guinn and Rena Attkison.
Survivors include her son Scott Smith; one sister Rose Ball; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 14, 2025, 6:00 - 7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 15th, 2025, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Zinnamon Cemetery in Strickler, Arkansas.
