When being at Grandma Belle Prater's house, I can remember all the good times we had with Louise. My mom, Barbara will really miss her. She talked about how special she was and what a good cook she was. She will be missed by all.

Aunt Louise has always held a special place in my heart. 1986 was a tough year for me, I was just starting through a separation and divorce after 14 years of marriage. Aunt Louise made a trip to Oregon that year and she spent quality time with me, sharing words of wisdom. It seemed everyone else wanted to instruct me as to what I should do (Specifically move to Oregon so they could take care of me and my kids) but Aunt Louise talked with me about looking inside myself to determine what was best for my children and I. I made the decision to stay in California and thought of her often over the next couple of years. When she and I both returned to Oregon a few years later, she was delighted to meet my new husband and tell me she thought I had made the right choices.

Aunt Lou was one of my favorite aunts. She would always stop by Mom and Dad's.. always ask about me... or if I was there .. would always carry on a conversation. She was one of the most caring people.. and would do anything for anyone. She's now in a better place and we have all been blessed with having her here with us. Celebrate her life.. she will be missed. You're all in my prayers.. Roy Gene
