Geneva Hazel Faulkner, 87, of Huntsville died July 13, 2008, at Northwest Medical Center-Springdale. She was born May 28, 1921, in the Good Luck community in Madison County to the Rev. Benner Elbert and Hannah Margaret Drake Davis.
She was a Christian, a talented singer and a member of Living Water Baptist Church in Huntsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Faulkner, on May 14, 1999; a son, Bobby Paul Faulkner; and a grandson, Matthew Gifford.
Survivors include two sons, Glen Faulkner and wife Judy of Prairie Grove and Gary Faulkner and wife Wanda of Huntsville; a daughter, Betty Gray and husband James of Huntsville; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Living Water Baptist Church with the Rev. Darrell Foulk and Loy Counts officiating.
Burial will be in Drakes Creek Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Brashears Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Faulkner, Stephen Faulkner, Ben Gifford, Perry Faulkner, Gary Lynn Faulkner Jr., Karl Haws, Tommy McCollough and Loren Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Ham, Jim Owens, Hank Sargent, Charles Gurley, Charles Coger, James Gray and the men of Living Water Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
