George Rayburn Myers
73 a resident of Summers, passed away May 23, 2012 at his home in Summers. He was born September 10, 1938 in Fayetteville, the son of Thomas Lafayette and Sarah Jane Rhoades Myers.
Survivors include his wife, June Myers; one son, Todd Myers and his wife, Kimberly of Hillsboro, Texas; three daughters, Sally Myers of Gilmer, Texas, Lesa Isbell and her husband, Mark of Parker, Kansas, and Tina DeHaan and her husband, Rick of Raymore, Missouri; one son-in-law, Charles Casey of Texas; one brother, Jim Myers and his wife, Janis of Fayetteville; three sisters, Mabelee Caughman and her husband, David of Hogeye, Mary Jane Wilmouth of Midland, Texas and Ruth Ann Chancellor of Rockwall, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Sean Myers, Brandon Myers, Travis Myers, Trisha Myers, Jason Casey, Trevor Casey, Morgan Isbell, Danielle Isbell, Samantha Isbell, Kristi Walkup, Blake DeHaan and Jill DeHaan; Ten great grandchildren, Madison Myers, Carly Myers, Colton Myers, Clay Walkup, Cooper Walkup, Trinity Myers, Tristen Casey, Kadin Casey, Isela Casey, and Landon Casey.
Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 - 10:00 A.M. at the Wedington Baptist Church with burial in the Wedington Cemetery in the Wedington Community.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Sean Myers, Brandon Myers, Travis Myers, Jason Casey, Trevor Casey, and Blake DeHaan.
