Larry Lee Spurgin

64, a resident of West Fork, Arkansas went to be with his Lord, February 18, 2009 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born April 1, 1944 at Humboldt, Nebraska, the son of Jesse and Edna Etter Spurgin.

He was a member of the New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Church near Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

Larry served in the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Anne Spurgin; two brothers, Kenneth L. Spurgin and Arthur M. Spurgin.

Survivors include six children, Dan W. Smock of West Fork, Arkansas, Debbi K. Benish and Heather E. Sigmon both of Farmington, Arkansas, Wyatt E. Spurgin, Robyn Surgin and Kelly Jo Stewart all of Omaha, Nebraska; five sisters, Ona Mae Wenig of Kearney, Nebraska, Helen Martinosky of Falls City, Nebraska, Cheryl Weir of La Vista, Nebraska, Norma J. Alford of West Fork, Arkansas and Karen Eickhoff of Lincoln, Nebraska; nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday evening from 1:00-8:00 P.M. with family receiving friends from 7:00-8:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the New Sulphur Freewill Baptist Chuch near Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Glen Faulkner officiating. Burial will be in the McDonald Cemetery near Hogeye, Arkansas, there will be no graveside service.

Pallbearers will be Dan Smock, Randy Sigmon, Nick Jordan and Bobby Kildow.

In Lieu of flowers family asks memorials be made to the Circle of Life Hospice 901 Jones Rd Springdale, Arkansas 72762.
