Martha M. Gyles
Age 95, a resident of Evansville, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at her home. She was born May 1, 1922 in Bushy Head, Oklahoma, the daughter of Sam and Della (Buxton) Abbott.
Martha was the Postmaster for the Evansville Post Office for 20 years. She attended the Evansville Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years Tim Gyles, two brothers Howard Abbott and Kenneth Abbott; two sisters Opal Bradshaw and Nella Faye Hauser; one son-in-law Glenn Bellamy and one daughter Patricia Frazier.
Survivors include her daughter Priscilla Bellamy; her son-in-law David Frazier; eight grandchildren Tim Bellamy and wife Jamie, Scott Bellamy and wife Terra, Anthony Bellamy and wife Amanda, Tonja Gross and husband Jason, Julie Sumner, Amanda Benton and husband Phil, Jonathan Frazier and wife Jennifer and Christopher Frazier; fifteen great grandchildren Sydney, Maitlyn, Conlan, Lauren, Seth, Isaac, Abigail, Hannah, Nathaniel, Austin, Ethan, Matthew, Dylan, Madalynn and Luke.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, March 30th, 2018, at Evansville Community Church in Evansville, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Vineyard Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
