Rex W. Winsted

99 a resident of Vineyard Community, went to be with his Lord on January 9, 2015 in Vineyard Community. He was born September 22, 1916 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the son of James Hamilton and Bess Marie Hoffman Winsted.

He was a member of the Vineyard Community Church for 65 years.

He had worked for Vancover Door Factory in Washington before enlisting in the United States Army where he served as a Military Policeman in Japan. He married Anna Belle Hines on January 3, 1942. He later returned to Arkansas where he raised cattle until his retirement.

Rex was preceded in death by his wife Anna Belle, his parents, three brothers Audrey, Bryce and Earl Winsted and one sister Lina Baker.

Survivors include his son Eddie Winsted and wife Judy of Evansville; one daughter Virginia Scott and husband David of Fayetteville; two grandchildren Debbie Barton and Rodney Winsted.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Vineyard Community Church. Burial will be in the Vineyard Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ted Eversoll, Johnny Swain, John Wilhite, Ken Thomas and Derrick Isaacs
