Obituary

Norma Rita Sherry, 80, a resident of Strickler, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2026 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born March 8, 1945 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of Larence Benton and Florene (Bradley) Phillips.

Norma was a good sport in every season of life, she had a great sense of humor. Full of wisdom and rich in common sense. In every situation, she acknowledged God, trusting Him completely, always relying on Him, and looking for natural cures for healing.

She was a devout Christian with a great heart and pure motives, living her faith with sincerity and grace. She deeply loved her family- her children, grandchildren, and great-grand children- and found great joy in each of them. Her sense of humor could brighten any moment, and her kindness left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Her life was a beautiful testimony of faith, love, and trust in God, and she will forever remain in our hearts.

She is preceded in death by her parents Larence Benton Phillips and Florene Bradley Phillips; two brothers, Larence Onnie Phillips and Thurman Phillips; great grandson Hudson Dick.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ross Earl Sherry; three children, Ronnie and Teresa Sherry of West Fork, Rita and William Dick of Prairie Grove, Shelley and Mike Petrie of Farmington; seven grandchildren, Bryon Sherry, Easton Sherry, Payton Sims, Rylan Sims, Chandler Dick, Braxton Dick, Lilly Petrie; nine great-grandchildren, Brylei Sherry, MaKayden Cash, Collin Sherry, Carter Sherry, Kaysen Sherry, Mason Sims, Palmer Sims, Truitt Sims, and John Cole Sims; and ten siblings, Rosalee Rouse, Evalena Nall, Jack Phillips, Ima Dean Jones, Shirlene Logsdon, Colleen Campbell, Daniel Phillips, Bernice Headrick, Mart Phillips andTeresa Reynolds.

The family would like to thank Circle of Life, Springdale, Arkansas for their love and care.

Norma was such a sweet person. Norma had a beautiful voice, I loved to her sing. She always talked about the Lord and had such a strong belief in the Lord. She will be missed, we love her very much.
