Ruby Mae Abel
93 a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away March 5, 2012 in Prairie Grove. She was born November 23, 1918 in Yell County, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Pearl Taylor Haston.
She was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and enjoyed teaching elementary students in the public school system.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Abel and one son, Lynn Abel.
Survivors include two sons, Adrian Abel and his wife, Virginia of West Fork, Arkansas and Troy Abel and his wife, Janis of Fayetteville, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Kelley Royal, Kasey Post, Mark Abel, Brian Abel and Darrell Abel; four great grandchildren, Kristen, Natalie, A.J. and Amelia.
At Ruby's request no services will be held. Burial was in Zinnamon Cemetery in Strickler, Arkansas.
