Tributes

I always enjoyed visiting Rusty and talking politics. We rarely agreed yet he always listened to opposing ideas with an honest ear. I'm glad we got to hang out over the years take trips to beaches and lakes back in the day.

I remember Pat and Rusty from my early years at PGMS. I taught science or/and math and had both boys as students. Pat was serious in class and Rusty enjoyed class!!! It is not fair at all for teachers to outlive their “kids.” I am so sorry for your loss.

Rusty was one of a kind. He was always there to talked to and I will never forget our fantasy football draft day every year. He will be sorely miss as well as our talks on the phone. He was very passionate everything in his life from sports to family. My heart goes out to Nancy and the family as well as his friends that loved him. RIP ole buddy you will be missed.

Nancy, I am so sad to hear of the passing of Rusty. I willl hold you and the rest of your family in prayers. I did not know Rusty very well but the few times I met him he was always funny and pleasant to be around.

Rusty and I competed against each other for years in AAU ball. When my son was in the 10th grade and Garrett was a 11th grader we combined and coached together. We had a great time. He called the other day and I tried to answer and couldn’t hear anything. Not sure what happened. I couldn’t get him. God bless the family.
