Obituary

Eva Sue Watson went to be with the Lord on Sunday July 6, 2025, at her home in Claremore, OK., due to complications with congestive heart failure, at the age of 84. She was born to Ray and Christine Carte in Lincoln, AR., on July 25, 1940.

She is survived by-Daughters Penny Littlefield, Kim and husband Jack Shinnick, and Ronda and husband Leon Wilson. Grandchildren Jake and wife Amber, Cody, Chad, Matthew, and Michelle. Great grandchildren Gage, Thatcher, Mackenzie, Hardy, Jaycee, and Jett.

Stepdaughters Jane and husband Tom Brick, Beth and husband Marvin Dick, Kim Webber, and Cass and husband Randy Huddleston. As well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

She has two surviving sisters and a brother-in-law, Raylene and James Newell of Farmington, AR., and Judy Skaggs of Ketchum, OK.

She was preceded in death by husband B.M. (Pete) Watson, parents Ray and Christine Carte, brothers John, Don, and Gary Carte, son-in-law John Littlefield, and stepson Moss Watson.

She found great enjoyment in being with family and friends. She enjoyed being an avid golfer with the women’s golf club and was a member of the HHWGA (Heritage Hills Women’s Golf Association). She enjoyed volunteering with Bit By Bit horse-riding school, working with horses to provide equine therapy to people with challenges.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 12, 2025 - 2:00 P.M. at the Rice Funeral Service - 631 East will Rogers Boulevard - Claremore, OK 74017.

Interment will be at the Bethesda Cemetery near Morrow, Arkansas.
