Wilma Doris Longwith, 92, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2026 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. She was born December 29, 1933 in Cove Creek, Arkansas, the daughter of Thomas Earl and Polly (West) Abshier.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 yrs. Lester Longwith; one son-in-law, Russell Pitts and two grandchildren, Jody Hunt and Candace Longwith; one great granddaughter, Sarah Longwith.
She is survived by four children, Nick Longwith and wife, Belinda, Brenda Hunt and husband, Dennis, Gwen Martin and husband, John, and Guatha Pitts; one brother, Ronnie Abshier and wife Teresa; ten grandchildren, Danaye Hunt, Matt Longwith (Danielle), Jennifer Teague (Joe), Heather Watson (Tony), Doug Prince (Melanie), Brandi Wilhite (Donnie), Nathan Prince (Paige), Seth Pitts (Alyssa), Connor Pitts, and Alec Pitts (Jami); and twenty-seven great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren and one on the way several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 27, 2026, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 28th, 2026, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas. No graveside service will be held at the cemetery.
