Kayla Danielle Davis Bailey of Prairie Grove, AR, the answer to many prayers, born November 9, 1979 in Russellville, AR, passed from this earthly life and is now reunited with her father, Danny Davis, and our Lord Jesus, with the love of her life by her side on December 15, 2025 in Fayetteville, AR. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and deep devotion to those she held dear. Her life, though far too brief, was marked by compassion, resilience, and an unwavering love for her family and friends, especially her love for Dale, Tate, and Addison.
Kayla was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, her ability to whisper to almost any critter, her amazing fortitude, her incredible devotion to family, her deep belief in herself, her unwavering faith in God and the way she made others feel seen and valued. She carried herself like the farmgirl she was, with grace, sincerity, some no-nonsense toughness and clear opinions while offering encouragement and laughter wherever she went. Her presence brought comfort, and her love left a lasting imprint on the hearts of many.
Family was at the center of Kayla’s life. A proud daddy’s girl, she was heartbroken when her father passed away too early as well. She kept his memory alive by sharing pictures of him on social media sites often. She cherished time spent with loved ones and found joy in everyday moments—conversations, shared memories, and simple acts of togetherness. She thoroughly enjoyed this time of year in particular, which she made Christmas special for her children and looked forward to seeing her extended family in Tilly, AR. She was a loyal friend, a devoted family member, and a source of strength to those who knew her.
Kayla is survived by her husband Dale Bailey, her son Tate Bailey, her daughter Addison Bailey, her mother Daveline Davis of Pottsville, her brother Daniel (Megan) Davis of Pottsville, a beloved niece, Kinley Egger and two nephews, Caleb and Rhett, many extended family members and a plethora of friends and peers. She is also survived by a multitude of fur babies, hers and others, who loved her with wags and purrs. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Earl Davis.
Several weeks ago, Kayla was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Her response was to tackle the scourge head-on with positivity and resolve. The consummate fighter, she battled the disease admirably, concealing the pain and misery as best she could. Unfortunately for those of us on earth, the cancer took its toll, and hastened her ascent into Heaven. A lifelong Christian, Kayla’s faith buoyed her throughout this tribulation.
A visitation for Kayla will be on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Summers Missionary Baptist Church in Summers, AR from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service to begin at 3:00 pm. A graveside service will follow at Dutch Mills Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Kayla’s memory to the Summers Missionary Baptist Church, 22055 US 62 West, Summers, AR 72769.
Kayla will be remembered, not only for who she was, but for how she made others feel: loved, supported, and understood. Her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the love she so freely gave.
She is deeply missed and forever remembered.
