Mary Helen Carlton the daughter of Rex and Christine (Stevens) Bailey was born January 3, 1938, in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on January 9, 2024, in Siloam Springs, Arkansas at the age of 85 years and 6 days.
Mary was a life-long resident of Stilwell. She worked many years at the Bank of Commerce as an Executive Vice President. Outside of the bank business Mary enjoyed working in her flower garden and sitting in the sunroom watching the birds. Mary was a lady of faith and she enjoyed going to church and loved her church family. Mary touched many lives over the years and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Carlton; parents Rex and Christine; and her brothers Bob Bailey and Vernon Bailey.
She is survived by a loving family which includes her children Steve Carlton of Stilwell and Lorie Henson and husband Jason of Rogers, AR; her sisters Midge Lofton of Tulsa, Alice Carlton and husband Don of Stilwell and Paula Worley and husband Jock of Stilwell; her brother Joe Charlie Bailey and wife Sharon of Stilwell; and her grandchildren Steven Carlton of Pennsylvania and Halee Henson of Rogers, AR. Several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives also survive her.
