Grandma, You and Grandpa were the two finest people to ever walk the face of this earth. I miss you both and please know that the things you taught me are still with me and will always be. And Grandma, nobody in this world will ever come close to making pickled beets the way you did; yours were the best. I love you still, both of you.

I am saddened by the passing of Mildred. She was a kind and generous host to me (picking blackberries a couple of years ago), a lady who had wonderful understanding and love of life. Her memory will strengthen her family and friends.

Kathy, by the way you talked about your mom at work, we know that she was a great lady & we know that she will be greatly missed. We are here for you in your time of sorrow. Our thoughts & prayers are with your family.

Jane, Leon, and family: As I watched the family memory video it was very evident your mother left a godly legacy that will carry on for generations to come. I especially enjoyed the last picture with your mom on a four wheeler. Jane, I can see where you get your spunk. I pray God will strengthen you and comfort you today and in all the days until you're reunited with your mother.

Grandma, What part of our life have you not touched??? Watching you bake bread and you pinching off some fresh dough for the little ones to eat-you taught us SHARING. Taking out our splinters and pulling our baby teeth-taught us CARING. Working in the garden and picking huckleberries- taught us that HARD WORK does have its rewards. Hearing your nightly prayers asking for the protection of your family-taught us that GOD is always near! The best lesson of all that you taught us was that LAUGHTER is the best medicine. My Grandma was the kidnest , most genteltest woman on earth, I love her and will miss her so much... Grandma was a hard worker and a woman with spunk...you couldn't out work grandma, she didnt want you to climb on a ladder , it was to high and you might fall off, and that was when she would say, here , I'll climb that ladder... now she has climbed that ladder to heaven, Dont make every one work to hard Grandma... I love you...and I miss you... give Grandpa a big hug for me... your loving granddaughter, Donna...

I always loved and admired Mildred. I wish I could have seen her more often. Her place was the one I longed to visit for two weeks(at least.)I wish I could come now but I can't.I am grateful for our Thanksgiving visit.My love and sympathy to all of you ,her family.

Mildred was as fine a lady as ever graced this earth. It was my extreme privilege and pleasure to have known her.May God cradle her in his arms and bring her eternal comfort.
