Aunt Caroline was a very special lady. We will miss her engaging smile and open heart to everyone around her.

It is hard being so far away in Africa at this time. My husband, Phil, and I are praying for Uncle Roy and the rest of the family as they deal with their loss.

I would like to express how saddened I am by Carolyn's passing. She was a very loving person and a wonderful Christian example to all who knew her. Her death has reminded me that I am missing so much joy and love of a church family as well as the fellowship and worship of Jesus our Lord. She has touched my life, even in her death. Praise the Lord, she is with Him! May God comfort you now, until we all see her in Heaven.

Carolyn was one of the sweetest ladies we ever know. We'll always remenber her for her love of Jesus, that special smile,and the sparkle in her eyes.

I want to write to express my deepest sadness and sympathy at hearing of the loss of “Mama Toots”. Carolyn was a VERY special lady. She was very much like a second mother to me and several other friends of John’s during those days of our youth in Prairie Grove, offering a very bright smile, the bestest softest hugs in the world, a delightful laugh, a kind admonishment, and always an encouraging word. I will always carry with me the warmest memories of her, from the first time I remember meeting her working in Dr. Tucker’s office to the days she helped care for me and my family during my own parent’s deaths. I hope that this time for Roy, John, Nancy and your families can be not only a time of sadness at her passing, but one of rejoicing in the life she shared with all around her.

Toots made me feel like a member of her family from the first time I met her. I will always treasure her hospitality during my college years. When I was away from my own home she opened hers to me for some Sunday lunches. She was a true example of Matthew 5:14 because she was a light reflecting God's love in my world!

A wonderful friend with a loving smile. Just 5 weeks ago after I had surgery Carolyn and Roy came to see me and brought homemade cookies. I will miss her more than words can say, but I know she will be waiting for all of us when we get to Heaven.
