Irene G Allred, 83 of Springdale passed away Friday, November 3, 2023 at Edgewood Health and Rehab in Springdale. She was born October 4, 1940 in Greenwich, Pennsylvania to Alfred Peters and Mary Schlenker Peters.
Irene was born and raised in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. She graduated high school and pursued a lifelong rewarding career in nursing. She married and raised two daughters, Tammy and Denise. She continued school and received her RN, and also graduated from the Arkansas School of Real Estate.
Irene was a sweet, loving, compassionate soul. She held no grudges. She was always humble and always grateful. She found beauty in all things and to her all things were beautiful. She enjoyed adventure and welcomed challenges. She also enjoyed reading and studying her Bible, feeding the birds, taking long walks, crafting, gardening, decorating for the holidays and spending time with family.
She was passionate about her church and family. She loved Jesus, her children, her grandchildren, her dogs and chocolate. We will all miss her very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Earnest Peters; her daughter, Denise Starr; two infant grandsons, Joshua Starr and Brice Hudgens-Singleton.
She is survived by one daughter, Tammy O’Dell of Springdale; five grandchildren, Amber Tollett, Cara Mooney, Rebecca Pierson, Dalena Garza and Josiah Starr; eleven great grandchildren, Jordan, Adrianna, Krista, Matthew, Brook, Reagan, Grayson, Auggie, Kimberly, Stella, Lilly and one great-great grandchild, Jax and her ex-husbands, Darrell Stucky and Floyd Allred.
Graveside services will be Tuesday, November 7. 2023 at 11am at Prairie Grove Cemetery with Pastor Bryan Graham officiating
