Linda Lorraine Bessinger, 76, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, August 10, 2026 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born August 18, 1949 in Jacksonville, Florida, the daughter of CW and Anna Lee (Hahn) Sapp.
Linda married her husband Al Bessinger in 1967. Together they were very privileged to have served on several mission trips to Honduras. Linda and Al were also charter members of Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. Linda Dedicated 45 years of her life to her career as a respiratory therapist, until she later retired. She found joy in being a loving mother and "BB" to her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Albert Bessinger and her parents, Curtis Warren and Anna Lee Sapp.
She is survived by two children, Chere Luginbuel and husband Stacy of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Robert Bessinger; two grandchildren, Reid Luginbuel of Prairie Grove, Arkansas and Garrett Luginbuel and wife Emmaleigh of Lincoln, Arkansas; and three siblings, Dianne Johnston and husband Steve, Cheryl Brumblow and husband Dennis and Curtis Warren Sapp Jr; sister-in-law Doris Head, and brother-in-law Alvie Bessinger and wife Judy.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 16, 2026, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 17th, 2026, at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. There will be no graveside service held.
