Winnie Murl Winston, 97, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026 in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born July 4, 1929 in Wood County, Texas, the daughter of Fred and Eddie Pearl (Reynolds) Elwood.
She is preceded in death by her husband Dudley Winston and four siblings, Blanch Tackett and husband Olive "Ollie", Charlie Rogers and wife Dorothy Swindell, Hershall Rogers and wife Ruby King, and Mozell Hall and husband George.
She is survived by one son, Keith Winston and wife Leisa of Aliso Viejo, California, one sister, Faye Melton of Dallas, Oregon, two grandchildren, Shelby and Parker Winston, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday, August 24, 2026, 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held 10:00 AM Monday, August 24th, 2026, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
