This can’t be!. There is still so much to do. I’ll bet you and I ran over 10,000 miles trying to out do each other running wind sprints in football and basketball practice. We were good. Then came real life and all the wonderful family vacations- Colorado, Hawaii, Bahamas, Cabo, World's Fair, Razorback basketball games. Thanks to you and your family. Keep on running I’m with you always!

It feels like the end of an era with Mike's passing. He made an art form of being over-the-top and humble at the same time. So many memories of Saturday night dinners at LJs, New Year's Eve dancing at Mountain Inn, calling hogs together at Razorback games, yelling for the Tigers at our kids' games, our young families travelling together to ski in Colorado, watch baseball in Kansas City, attend the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans, and even a Dogpatch trip where Mike and I fought over the front seat because we both got car sick. Then later trips together to Hawaii, the Bahamas, Cabo, and several sad trips to Houston. Mike's big heart, his generous and loving spirit, and the strength of his character were endearing.

Mike was a wonderful and sincere friend. He always had a smile and shared that smile freely. He loved his family with all his heart and was devoted to Carol, Shawn and Shannon.

I loved to see this family on special Sundays at lunch where we would visit with laughter. Wonderful family.

Mike was such a force when it came to business but especially when it came to family. He was an example of what it means to show up and be there for each other no matter what.
