Ruth Ellen Ackley Montgomery
Age 76, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born December 3, 1947 in West Fork, Arkansas, the daughter of Martin Maxwell and Lavada Louise (Wall) Ackley.
Ruth worked for King Radio for over twenty years and then retired from Pratt Whitney in Springdale, Arkansas. She was a generous, loving, genuine, hardworking mother of three who persevered through tough times.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Darrell Sanders.
Survivors include two daughters Becky Taylor and husband Chris of Kansas City, Kansas, and Holly Thomas and husband Tracey of Farmington, Arkansas; four sisters Easter Ackley of Elkins, Arkansas, Beverly Ackley of Conway, Arkansas, Carol Ackley of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Sheila Ackley of Lincoln, Arkansas; nine grandchildren Hannah, Sam and Levi Taylor, and Brandy, Halie, and Tyler Thomas, Lacie, Taylor, and Jacob Sanders; four great grandchildren Rae, Alyhiana, Monica, and Jacqueline; numerous nieces and nephews.
Burial was in the Prairie Grove Cemetery in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.
