Eugene Alvin McVey
Age 93, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born November 7, 1930 in Coldwater, Kansas, the son of Carl and Edith (Parr) McVey.
Eugene retired from the University of Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Georgia McVey, and one brother.
Survivors include two sons Alvin McVey and Eldon McVey; two sisters Violet Beatty and Dixie McVey; two brothers Earl McVey and Leonard McVey; one grandson Brandon Wade McVey; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 2, 2024 - 2:00 P.M. at the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
