Age 83, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Pea Ridge, Arkansas. He was born July 24, 1939 in Corpus Christi, Texas, the son of Clarence "Shorty" and Eva Lynn (Ward) Cates.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his sister Kay Starr; niece, Jourdine Kell; niece, Jocelyn Forest; niece, Gia Starr; nephew, Joshua Reynolds; niece, Chelsy Starr; niece, Crystal; niece, Carol Robinson and her husband Randy; nephew, Tim Eichblatt; nephew, Jason Starr and his wife Jackie; nephew, Tony Starr and his wife Barbara; niece, Angela Beuchamp and her husband Alan; nephew, Angelo Beuchamp; niece, Starr Beuchamp
Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 31st, 2023, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
