Edna I am sorry for Bob’s passing. He could make anyone laugh. His sayings “Don’t sweat the small stuff”, you give a hand up not a hand out, and take care of yourself first because if you’re not happy no one else would be. He had nick names for everyone, Ron was buttercup, Tara was Runt. He worked so hard for the city and for the various race tracks he said he was tired but had stuff to get done, I hope he is enjoying his eternal rest.

I know he is hanging out with his Granny in heaven. He said she was worth being good and living right, Just to see her again someday!

Bob was a great man. He made my friend Edna very happy. Bob was kind, funny, honest & great on the BBQ grill. Bob will be missed by many.

Bob was a very special person. His personality and humor was addictive. He made the best of any situation and faced everything head on with a smile. We might not have always agreed on things, and I regret time lost due to that. Bob was more than a brother to me, he was my best friend, my rock to lean on and always there for me. I love and miss him.

We all are blessed to be in the presence of Bob King. He was and still is a kindred spirit. Dan and I both can throw and skip rocks because of our brother. Living on Cove Creek was a great childhood. Our neighbors down the road were the Dobbs family. Got alot of good memories. Down the road or up the hill we all were family. I love you all very much and we all will remember and love Bob for eternity. Thank for all you have done and will continue to do for us. BOB is an amazing man and taught us all how to laugh.

I worked with Bobby a couple summers in a row at the Battlefield Park and he was the only one of us old enough to drive. His sense of humor could make anyone laugh. He was a truly good and caring person. He and some friends of mine used to drive the dirt roads on the weekends and he was always a fun friend to be around. God bless his family and friends.
