Hazel Carolynn Carr was born December 22, 1930 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on June 3, 2025 in Stella, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents W. W. and Ione Fewell, her husband Lewis Carr, daughter Lark Ezell, and granddaughter Amy Ezell.
Carolynn was raised in Cisco, Texas where she attended high school and Cisco Junior College.
She is survived by her two children, son Mark Carr (Mary) of Midwest City, Oklahoma and daughter Lisa Taylor (Ted) of Elkins, Arkansas;
Grandchildren Sarah Ezell (Brad), Wesley Ezell, Gary Ezell (Amy) ; Kate Cox (Jared), Matthew Taylor, Heather Hamilton; and nine great-grandchildren:
Lucas, Lucy, Berlyn, Zadie, Oren, Rixten, Jozie, Eabea, and Cyrus.
Carolynn lived as a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas for over 50 years. She worked at Montgomery Wards in Fayetteville for approximately 15 years.
