Susan Harmon Hiatt· Aunt on biological father’s sideNov 17, 2023

I am Pat’s aunt on his biological father’s side. I will miss Pat, our conversations, and his humor. We had some fun times with him when he was a young boy and a teen. He kept in touch with the Harmon side of his heritage and knew we loved him. He knew he could reach out to us anytime and we were there for him. My prayers go out to the family. May the Lord give you His grace and comfort during this time and going forward.

Pat,

Thank you for being the big brother I never had.

You gave me a model of how to help folks younger than myself.

I saw you be a great son and older brother.

I enjoyed you teaching me and my peers about football, basketball, track and field, fishing, weightlifting, baseball, mechanics, video games, construction, comedy and music.

I saw you give selflessly of your time and material possessions to others at a young age.

You taught me about sports psychology and mental and physical toughness and gave me words of encouragement that helped form my self image.

I have never forgotten the nice words and advice that you gave on more than one occasion and when I needed it at different times in life.

You always had a smile for me and always greeted me in public, often times with a big hug.

You would take us out to town, to baseball games, help us fish, take us out to dinner, take us to many movies, take Rusty out for his birthday, surprise your folks with Christmas portraits, take us on road trips.

Thank you for being in my life,

You are loved and missed.
